Hello Nollan!
These coming weeks will be an experience like no other. During your first time here at LTH, you will experience An Introduction Among the Waves. My name is Øverphøs Okeanos and together with the Phøs, I will guide you through this introduction. Our common goal is to make your introduction as memorable as possible. The introduction is a mix of studying, partying, and games. There will be something for everyone, regardless of what you like. Just as a large wave towers over the sea, this introduction will give you grand memories for life.
During the introduction, you will primarily get to know your classmates. You will also get to know people from other years and people from all over LTH. Thanks to this, you will always have someone to study, hang out, or talk with. Never be afraid to ask someone for help, everyone is or has been in the same situation at some point during their years at LTH. As a Nolla, it is easy to feel lost, it can feel like there are a million new things to learn and keep track of. Luckily, there is the Phøs, Phadders, and an entire helpful guild to guide and help you get a good start as a student here. We want you to always feel safe and welcome.
Let us guide you across these stormy seas that mark the beginning of a new chapter in life. We can promise that this is something you do not want to miss!

With the deep calm of the sea and the safety of the currents, Øverphøs Okeanos shows the way through a world full of community, laughter and discovery. As a Nolla it might feel tumultuous to be thrown out in deep waters, but Øverphøs Okeanos is always there at the helm setting a steady course. Like a glowing lighthouse in the night he carries, guides and safely steers the journey over the waves towards the horizon that awaits.
Cophøs Galatea
From the shimmering waves of the sea, Cophøs Galatea steps forth to give color and shape to the Phøs. She is the ocean's own artist, the one who borrows the color of the corals and the light of the waves. With a masterful eye for detail, she shapes the symbols and emblems that the crew proudly carries with them out into the depths. Through her hands, the unknown is dressed in a magical beauty that makes the adventure among the waves unforgettable.
Cophøs Aegir
Like the sea itself, Cophøs Aegir broods over both hidden treasures and unforgettable tales. With a steady gaze, he watches over the ship's treasure chest and ensures that the resources never run dry during the journey. But he is not just the guardian of the gold. Through his lens, Cophøs Aegir captures the light that refracts in the waves and freezes time, so that Nollan's adventure among the waves can live on long after the storm has subsided.
Cophøs Isora
From the beating heart of the ocean, Cophøs Isora rises to shape Nollan's absolute strongest experiences among the waves. It is she who awakens the currents of anticipation and directs the great swells of adventure. She knows every hidden lagoon of community and makes sure the deck rocks with music, dance, and antics. With Cophøs Isora as navigator, the introduction is transformed into an unforgettable journey from coast to coast.
Cophøs Ulmo
Like the powerful undercurrents that drive the oceans forward, Cophøs Ulmo leads Nollan through the most grand chapters of the journey. He is the one who creates a tailwind by gathering treasures and valuable assets from all over the world, so that nothing is missing once Nollan casts off. When the missions sweep in over the seas, Cophøs Ulmo stands ready by Nollan's side, transforming the great, shared trials into memorable adventures.
Cophøs Halimede
As the fixed point of the horizon, Cophøs Halimede watches over Nollan, but her true task is to lead those who show the way. With her quiet strength and clear gaze, it is she who guides the phadders - so that they, in turn, can guide the newcomers through uncertain waters. In the safe embrace of the sea, everything begins, and with Cophøs Halimede as the anchor for Nollan's protectors, no one ever sails alone.

We are Erik and Olle, and we are the Øvergudsphaddrar (Head Mentors) at the E-Guild, and our biggest calling in life is to have a ton of fun. We wear white lab coats with red and yellow details at all sorts of events.
Now that Nollan has arrived in Lund, we want more than anything to teach you everything we know—that is to say, we will do our absolute best to make sure you live your best lives over the next five weeks! With us, we have our beloved Phørstärkare (Co-Mentors / Amplifiers) who get hyped to the max every single night.

PHØRSTÄRKARE - Makes sure events run smoothly. Always very happy and hyped.

SITTNING - A dinner party with varying degrees of formality ranging from slasque to a gasque/ball. Often with a theme and always with food, singing and spex or other entertainment. Literally means "a sitting-down".
SJÖN SJØN (lake Lake) - Huge swimming pool in the middle of the LTH campus.
SLASQUE - A messier/trashier sittning.
SPARTA - Student housing in Lund where people live a simple without unnecessary luxury.
SPEX - Short stage performance. Could be a song, a dance, a short theater, or a game.
SPORTA MED E (Sports with E) - Weekly activity for athletic E-students.
TEKNOLOGMÖSSA (Engineer's cap) - The engineering student's super nice headgear with a really beautiful tassel.
TELEFONKIOSKEN TELEFONKIOSKEN (The telephone booth Telephone Booth) - The now non-functioning communication cabin on island Island in lake Lake.
TLTH (Teknologkåren vid LTH) - The Student Union at LTH, the association that connects all the guilds/chapters.

ÖN ØN (The island Island) - The island in the middle of lake Lake. Usually uninhabited, except during the Regatta, when it is so overpopulated it almost sinks.

Hi!
Our names are Lisa Elmlund and Harald Fränne and we are the E-guild's Equal Treatment representatives. Together with the sEnsors, we make up trivselrådet (the well-being council), which works for well-being, equality, and diversity within the E-guild and TLTH. We hope you will enjoy your time studying, but should you feel vulnerable or unfairly treated by other students or teachers, both during the introduction and the rest of the year, do not hesitate to contact us.

Good to know is that we have a promise of confidentiality, which means that what you tell us in confidence stays with us unless you want us to proceed with a case. The "nollning" (student introduction) and all its activities are always completely voluntary. You or anyone else should never feel forced or pressured to do something you don’t want to do. As a result, you must never force or pressure anyone else to do something.
You and others should always feel safe and respected. Always show respect toward other members and event organizers.
All forms of discrimination and harassment are strictly prohibited.
Teknologkåren (TLTH) has a policy for suspension and dismissal, meaning that individuals who do not behave appropriately can be suspended from the Teknologkår and all its activities. This also includes the orientation period. You can read more below:

Hi there!
First and foremost, a warm welcome to Lund, LTH, and our guild. How wonderful that you got accepted! With the choice of education you've recently made, you have also unknowingly become part of the community that is the E-guild!
The E-guild consists of about 600 members studying the programs Electrical Engineering (E) or Biomedical Engineering (BME), or one of our master's programs System-on-Chip and Wireless Communication. We are about 200 volunteers who together make our daily operations possible! We organize everything from gillen (pubs) and parties to study nights and sports events so that as many people as possible can find something for them. We also run the LED café to keep our members charged with coffee and energy to tackle the days! The guild is here to make your time studying a bit easier and hopefully a whole lot more fun.
My name is Elsa and I am the President of the guild for 2026! I work with the strategic issues that the guild handles and I lead the board. This involves a lot of meetings, and I work primarily with the Kontaktor (Vice President) and the Council of Presidents (the 10 other goofs on campus who have the same job as me) to create the best possible conditions for the members and the guild, both short-term and long-term. If you have any questions about the guild or your studies, or just want to chat for a bit, don't hesitate to grab me in the corridor or at an event!

Cafémästare (Café Master)
Of course, we also have our brilliant diodes and cool halvledare (“semiconductors”) that we couldn't do without! They are the ones who open the café and work once a week. It is super cozy to work in the café and it's a perfect way to get to know new people. Moreover, you can become either a diod or a halvledare already during the first study period, which means you become a functionary at the E-guild and get free coffee/tea/O'boy, among other perks!
If you are interested in a position, you should definitely take a look at led.esek.se. Otherwise, just reach out to me if you have any questions! I can most likely be found in LED :)
Förvaltningschef (Head of Facilities)
Solving all this and ensuring a great atmosphere in our facilities is not something I can take on all by myself, though, as I have the rest of the committee to rely on. Sam, my good Vice, assists me in my work and is there to lead the committee when I can't. Hustomtarna (“house elves”) are the committee's worker ants and are the ones who actually sort things out in the premises. Arkivarierna (the archivists), believe it or not, archive and take care of all the old things the guild has collected throughout its almost 65-year-long history. Ekiperingsexperterna (“merch experts”) are responsible for our merch, both purchasing and sales. Teknokraterna (the technocrats) take care of the guild's technical equipment; without them, we wouldn't be able to have such hyped events as we do. Lastly, we have our Husnissar (“house gnomes”), who have their own little projects that they've come up with themselves.
If you have any thoughts or complaints about the facilities, ideas or projects to improve them, or if you are just wondering about anything related to it, feel free to reach out. Maybe you are even hyped to become a husnisse yourself?

The krøgare is part of a trio that also includes two vice krøgare, Sebbe and Klara. Together, we are the leadership of Källarmästeriet (the Pub (“basement”) Committee). We also have many wonderful källarmästare (pub masters) and two cøl (head of cider & beer), Lisa and Isac, who do all the actual work.

Pengamästare (Treasurer)
Even though the name of the committee makes it sound like we are the ones making the guild's money, that is actually not quite how it works, but we still like to take the credit for it. PengU mostly consists of receipts, Excel spreadsheets, Fortnox, and trying to understand what people actually meant on their accounting slips. My pEngviner and my Vice are very skilled though, so most things usually work out in the end.
If you have any questions about finances, receipts, or anything else, just give me a shout! I am happy to answer (though the quality of the answer may vary depending on the time of day). All's well that ends well!
Sexmästare
During the intorduction, you will get to experience everything from rowdy slasques to grand gasques filled with good food, beautiful singing, funny spex, and a fantastic atmosphere. My job is to, together with my Vice, plan and host the sittningar so that you have fun and memorable evenings. But it would never have been possible without the rest of my incredible sexmästeri (Festivities Committee).
In the kitchen, you will find our fantastic kitchen masters who plan and cook the food served during the sittnings. In the bar, our bar masters stand ready to keep thirst away no matter what you are craving. The head waiters make sure the venues are decorated, the tables are set, and that everything runs smoothly during the evening, serving you everything you get on the table. Perhaps the loudest of all: our wonderful toast masters, who lead the songs, perform spex, and make sure no sittning stays quiet for very long.
Then, of course, we have our SEXIGA (“sexy”) — the backbone of the entire sexmästeri. They help out wherever needed before, during, and after the sittnings and ensure that everything actually works.
I am really looking forward to meeting you all at the sittnings and during the rest of the introduction! So keep an eye out for the ticket releases and never hesitate to come up and chat with me if you are wondering anything about sittnings, the guild, or life at E in general.
